During this initial stage, we explore your vision, the mood you wish to evoke, the nature of the occasion, color preferences, your overall budget, and strict timeline requirements to guarantee a seamless experience.

Stage 2: Silhouette, Measurements, and Ideation

Once the brief is clear, we focus on form and fit. We assist you in taking precise body measurements. For our remote clients, we often ask you to share pictures alongside measurements. This helps us understand your unique body type, allowing us to recommend the absolute best silhouette and cuts that will flatter your posture. With your measurements in hand, we provide custom design illustrations and sketches of the garment for your review and approval.

Stage 3: Sourcing, Swatches, and Materialization

Once you approve the initial sketches, we dive into the tactile world of textiles. We present you with curated fabric swatches and color options tailored to your design. Depending on the requirements, we offer a vast range of options—from premium natural fabrics to high-quality man-made fibers. If the perfect shade doesn't exist ready-made in the market, we utilize a deep-dye process to hand-dye the fabric specifically for you. Alternatively, we source premium ready-fabric directly from the market.

Stage 4: Artwork and Embellishment Development

If your garment requires unique embellishments, we design them from scratch. We create custom artwork layouts for the embroidery so you can see the exact placement, scale, and density on the body. At this stage, you can collaborate with us to fine-tune the details—whether you prefer a subtle look, a heavily embellished finish, a high-contrast design, or specific elements like crystals, beads, or a matte finish. Once approved, our expert embroiderers bring the artwork to life.

Stage 5: Pattern Making, Toile, and Construction

Behind the scenes, multiple master craftsmen work in harmony to build your garment. The Pattern Master crafts a custom pattern based on your unique dimensions, while the Draper works directly with the fabric to ensure it moves beautifully. We also construct a trial garment (toile) to test the fit and ensure the proportions fall exactly as intended before cutting into the final fabric. We share updates of this fascinating process with you, allowing you to stay connected to the craftsmanship.

Before your garment leaves our studio, we share final images of the completed piece with you for approval. If minor adjustments are needed within the limits of the design, we perfect them before shipping.

Remote Assistance: If minor tweaks are needed, we provide dedicated support via video calls and phone consultations to guide your local tailor through the adjustments.

Studio Alterations: In the rare event that a garment must return to our Noida studio for alterations, the client covers the return shipping costs, and we charge a small fee to safely re-dispatch the perfected garment back to you.
